Information you send us

The Suggest a trip form collects the name, email address, and project description you choose to submit. It also sends a hidden anti-spam field and a submission-time value used to reduce automated abuse. Please do not send passwords, payment information, health information, or other sensitive or confidential material.

How we use it

We use a submission to review the suggestion, decide whether it may fit The Adventures of John & Corey, contact the sender about it, and protect the form from spam or misuse.

Services that process it

The form first passes through a Cloudflare Worker, which validates the submission and forwards it to a Google Apps Script web app protected by a shared secret. Google’s Mail service then sends the name, email address, and project description to our designated Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google therefore process the submission while providing hosting, security, form relay, and email services.

The website does not place form submissions in its own database. The delivered submission remains in the designated Gmail account until it is manually deleted. Routine hosting, security, and execution logs may also contain technical information such as request time, IP address, browser details, requested page, or error information.

Analytics, cookies, and outside links

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to measure aggregate page views and website performance. According to Cloudflare, this service does not use cookies or local storage to track people and does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for analytics. This site does not run advertising analytics or marketing pixels. You can read Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

The site loads its fonts from its own server and requests adventure thumbnail images from YouTube’s image servers. Those image requests provide YouTube with ordinary network information such as an IP address and browser details. Following a YouTube link takes you to YouTube, where Google’s Privacy Policy applies.

The Music page links to our store on Gumroad, where packs are sold and where you can follow the store. Purchases, follows, and any information you share there happen on Gumroad’s website and are handled under Gumroad’s Privacy Policy. We have not verified exactly which customer details Gumroad shares back with us or whether following the store opts you into promotional emails from Gumroad — check Gumroad’s policy and your Gumroad account settings for those details.

Your choices

You do not have to use the form. To ask us to correct or delete a submission, or to ask a privacy question, email johnandcoreyadventures@gmail.com. We may need enough information to locate the message.
